Adult Day Care Program
White Dove Services provides Adult Day Care Services for Seniors in Denver and surrounding area. Adult Care Services is a cost effective alternative compared to an average hourly rate of $19 per hour for in-home care and allows caregivers to continue working outside the home and receive help with care of their loved one.
Adult Day Care Services are a welcome respite for individuals who work or need time away from their loved one to run errands, socialize or just take a break. The care receiver also benefits from Adult Day Care. He or she is able to remain at home with family and interact socially with peers, share in stimulating activities and receive assistance with daily living activities with dignity.
White Dove Services offers a supportive, active environment focusing on positive aspects of client’s abilities. We respect the uniqueness and strengths of each individual and support for choice and independence.
A typical day includes supervised small group and individual activities such as:
- Bingo
- Bunko
- Bowling
- Crafts
- Exercise Classes
- Trips to the Flea Market, Mall, Movie Theatre, Library, Museums, Zoo and Parks
- Volunteer Work
- Music and Therapeutic Activities
- Participating in Classes
- Learning New Skills
- Making New Friends
White Dove Services supports and assist Seniors with long-term challenges to realize their individual potential through group activities and peer interaction reducing loneliness and isolation. We offer a community based focus maintaining our clients connection with formal and informal support network.
We provide full transportation services to and from all day program activities with a wheelchair accessible bus or van.
Fees range from $55 - $75 per day. White Dove Services also offers sliding scale fees and reduced rates on ability to pay.
